Kindergarten – Ages 4.10 to 6 Years Old Gods Little Children Preschool offers several Kindergarten programs designed to meet the individual needs of families and children. Our Kindergarten programs offer curriculum activities in reading, writing, math, science, social studies, art, computer, music and physical fitness through gymnastics. Full Day Kindergarten Program Our full day program runs from 8:30am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday with extended hours available in both the morning and afternoon. The Kindergarten curriculum is based on the Massachusetts Department of Education Frameworks and is designed to prepare the student for 1st grade. The program’s curriculum includes small group (up to 11 students) academic instruction in language arts, math, science, social studies, art and computer science. Nutritional snacks and weekly gymnastics class are included; lunches are available at an additional cost. Half Day Kindergarten Program Our half day program is designed to meet the individual needs of families. The program is appropriate for children who will turn 5 years old before December and have therefore missed the public school cut off date. The program also caters to children who are enrolled in a half day kindergarten program at the public school and would like to further their learning before or after their public school program. Families who live in the Coolidge district can be bussed to and from the Shrewsbury Public Schools to attend our program. The program curriculum offers activities to introduce as well as reinforce skills in language arts, math, science, social studies, art and computer science.
